- Lot Description
Likely English, 18th-19th century. A horizontal sampler with multiple alphabet lines, and embroidered with floral sprigs, baskets and trees, along with dancing African figures in colonial dress, dogs, a crowned lion and a Neoclassical pavilion, framed; 10.75 x 29 in. (sight).
