- Lot Description
English, 19th century. A group of forty-one pieces of pink floral lusterware, with various or no markings, including:
eleven sets of matching teacups and saucers;
three sets of teacup, saucer, and bread plate;
one teapot;
one creamer;
one dessert plate;
and five teacups;
plus, two porcelain plates and one porcelain teacup;
teapot (largest) ht. 6.5, wd. 11, dp. 6.5 in.
Provenance: Property from the Estate of Julie Parrott Smart, New Carlisle, OHPaint loss, crazing, and staining. Four teacups have hairlines, two others have a small chip to the rim. One teacup has a repaired chip to rim. Another has a firing crack to the underside of base. One dessert plate has a hairline to underside of rim. Five saucers have hairlines. One saucer has a small chip to underside of rim. Three saucers have chips around rim, and one of these appears to have been repaired. Chip inside teapot lid rim. Cracks to base of teapot that have been repaired with a small area of ceramic loss.Condition
