English, 19th century. A Chippendale butler's chest in mahogany with banded maple inlay, having a rectangular inlaid and reeded surface, over a pull out leather writing surface, fitted interior desk consisting of six pigeon holes and eleven tiger maple drawers, above three graduated cockbeaded and dovetailed drawers with brass pulls, reeded apron, all rising on bracket feet; ht. 44.5, wd. 48, dp. 22 in.
Condition
Item is in overall good condition with missing inlay and age splits throughout. Restorations and repairs present. Surface scratches and damage throughout.
