Effie Corwin Trader is an Ohio native and was active in Cincinnati for several decades. After studying at the Cincinnati Art Academy, she became the pupil of Louis-Théodore Dubé, the French miniaturist. She also served as President of the Woman's Art Club in Cincinnati. Aside from miniatures, she is known for her landscapes and portraits. She traveled extensiviley to the Southern and Southwestern United States, and documented her trips through watercolors.

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
