- Lot Description
31.5" single edged blade with 22" median fuller. Gilt and blued blade with martial and floral themes, including American Eagle with 15 stars. Silver gilt brass guard with langlets adorned with eagles and carved bone grip. Silver gilt brass scabbard.
Very good condition. Blade is bright with very little darkening and minimal rust or pitting. Most of the gilding and bluing remains with no major damage to edge. Hilt retains most of the silver finish with some wear on raised edges and light tarnish throughout. Grip is free of any major grips or cracks. Scabbard has some tarnish, with darkening and finish discoloration throughout.Condition
