- Lot Description
19th century. Two early hourglasses, a small tin example with hexagonal frame, and a wooden example with turned supports, in black and gold paint; larger ht. 6.5 in., smaller ht. 3.75 in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Dr. James and Betty Sutherland, Cincinnati, OH
Condition
Smaller example without sand, and possible repair to center. Larger example with replaced support. Some possible repainting.
