Dwarf Tall Case Clock
Probably British, 20th century. A dwarf tall case clock in mahogany with tiger maple accents and lightwood inlays, having an eight-day, time and strike on bell movement driven by weights. The case with a scrolled, broken arch pediment above a glazed door and spindles, opening to a painted, Roman numeral dial with flowers in the corners, the arched top having a moon phase disc with a nautical scene and a homestead, the waist with a cockbeaded tombstone door inlaid with a central sunburst and flanked by reeded quarter columns, the whole resting on a molded box base with reeded quarter columns and French feet; ht. 63.5, wd. 14, dp. 8.25 in.Condition
