- Lot Description
An exceptional handmade platinum brooch containing approximately 14.50 carats of VVS1-2, H-I color European cut diamonds accented with baguette emeralds. The center diamond measures approximately 7.8mm x 7.8mm x 4.15mm and weighs approximately 1.50 carats. To the outside of the center are two diamonds measuring approximately 6.4mm x 6.4mm x 3.2mm each and weighing approximately 1.80 carats total weight. To the outside of those diamonds are two diamonds measuring approximately 5.75mm x 5.75mm x 2.7mm each and weighing approximately 1.20 carats total weight.
The body of the brooch has a three dimensional design with 106 diamonds set throughout the piece weighing approximately 9.50 carats total weight accented by 20 scissor cut baguette emeralds. The folding bail contains 18 diamonds weighing approximately .50 carats total weight accented by four custom cut emeralds. The accompanying 16" platinum chain features elongated links with twisted wire accents affixed in the openings.
