- Lot Description
.45 ACP, 5" barrel, S/N 5055. Matte blue and bright finish. Custom built on an Essex Arms matte stainless frame, with an unmarked slide and a Nowlin match barrel. Equipped with adjustable Bo-Mar rear sight, stainless ambidextrous thumb safety, extended stainless slide release, slightly arched checkered mainspring housing with mag-well funnel, long solid aluminum trigger with over-travel adjustment, Pachmayr wrap-around rubber grips. Includes one magazine. Appears to be an 80s era custom 1911, possibly for limited class IPSC or similar competition.
