Confederate imprint map, 23.5 x 17.5 in. Plan of the Western Seat of War. New Orleans, LA: published by H.P. Lathrop, printed by J. Manouvrier, n.d., possibly 1865. General map of Kentucky, Tennessee, and parts of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and North Carolina showing principal roads, railroads, towns, and rivers. Fortified sites and battlefields are not indicated. Inset with reduced continuation of Missouri. Parrish & Willingham 6180.
Condition
Stamps for Public Library Fort Wayne & Allen Co. and Indiana Collection along top margin of map. Some loss along margins, including right edge, lower right corner, and bottom edge (near lower right corner). Horizontal tear along left edge (near center). Few separations at folds, small areas of loss at folds. Backed with archival tissue.
Losses to beading, stains, water damage and wear to frames.
