- Lot Description
English, mid-19th century. A Copeland porcelain urn of ovoid form with two winged-female handles, having hand-painted reserves and gilt foliate decoration on a blue-green ground, the whole on a square base. One painted scene depicting a courtship, signed indistinctly, the other a seascape, with green Copeland mark to underside of base; ht. 15.75, wd. 9, dp. 7 in.
Condition
Repair to the head on one handle. Other handle with multiple repairs. Re-gilding to lower section. Chip in base.
