- Lot Description
Continental, 19th-20th century. A group of seven porcelain figures, including:
one man and one woman probably by Old Paris Porcelain, with matching bases, the man playing pipes and the woman holding baskets, unmarked;
one of a woman reading, probably by Old Paris Porcelain, unmarked;
one, probably German, salt dish showing a woman holding flowers, marked illegibly on underside;
one porcelain nodder, marked 3;
and two German placecard holders, marked Germany on undersides;
(Old Paris figures) ht. 11, wd. 4, dp. 4 in.
Nodder missing pieces on sides of neck that hold it in body. Salt dish has old repair to right hand. Loss/wear to gold paint and firing cracks on underside of male and female figures. Other wear consistent with age and use.Condition
