Born into a Louisville family in East Hampton, NY, Constacne Clark Willis returned to Kentucky to obatin a BA in art from the University of Louisville. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including in New York at the Parrish Art Museum, the Brooklyn Art Museum, and the Sherman Gallery, as well as regionally, most notably at the Speed Museum in Louisville, which is the permanent home to some of her works. In her obituary, the artist was quoted to credit the sea as a string influence on her aesthetic: "I was born within sound of the sea... Each summer my being is invaded by its countless moods... By its very presence it can stimulate or lull me... The sea is the most awesome and mysterious work of the Creator..."

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
