32.5" blade with unstopped fuller, a slight curved blade. Flat style knuckle bow with the letters CSA. Brass circular pommel and collar around the guard at the quillon. Buff colored leather covered handle with brass wire wrapping. Scabbard made of wood with black paint, brass drag with brass bands. Original chamois leather scabbard with a paper tag glued to the leather: Marked Adams Express Company from Richmond VA.
This without a doubt the finest known Confederate Officers sword. The blade still retains all of the original burnish bright finish. Displaying all of the polishing lines. Brass is totally untouched with a rich patina. Wood scabbard still retains all of the of the original black paint. Brass fittings with a rich untouched patina. If you are purchasing a firearm that requires an FFL or C&R and you do not have one, we can transfer the gun to a firearms dealer of your choice. We will transfer and ship the firearm to them, and they will then transfer it to you. Any charges for this service (which may include a background check) are between you and the dealer. If you come to Cowan’s in person to pick up your purchase(s), we can transfer a long gun to you directly. Handguns can only be transferred to Ohio residents.
