Signed on cover John Letcher. John Letcher (1813-1884) was a lawyer, member of the US Congress, and Governor of Virginia during the Civil War. The men profiled in this volume are: S.M. Condition

Biographical Sketches with numerous water stains, lower right piece of front wrap missing. All three "Acts of the General Assembly" with bookplate "Ex Libris Daniel Henry Holmes Ingalls." With moderate wear, some toning, but all still bound tightly.
