- Lot Description
.44 caliber, 8" round barrel, s/n 221718. Blued finish, casehardened hammer, brass trigger guard, smooth one-piece wood grip. Four screw frame, cut for shoulder stock. Matching serial numbers, 6-shot fluted cylinder. Left side of barrel marked with gold leaf crossed cavalry sabers with US above and 1860 below. One-line New York barrel address, Sam Colt signature on backstrap. In gray Colt factory box with paperwork.
Excellent as new, with nearly all finish. Mechanically functional, fine bore, fine grips. Box very good.Condition
