- Lot Description
.31 caliber, 3.875" octagonal barrel, S/N 320611. Blued and case hardened finish, silver-plated brass frame, walnut grips. All matching numbers, including the wedge. Standard one-line NY barrel address, cylinder with roll engraved stage coach scene. Contained in carved folk art style case of more recent vintage, with blue velvet lining, copper flask, jappaned tin of caps with a blue Eley Brothers label, an unmarked brass pistol mold, a partial package of cartridges and a key.
Very good. Pistol retains some blue on the barrel and some traces of case color on the frame and loading lever. Cylinder mostly a brownish patina with spots of surface oxidation. Frame with traces of silver. Grips fine with some varnish. Mechanically functional, good bore. Case and accessories good.Condition
