- Lot Description
.44-40 caliber, 4.75" barrel, S/N 152740. Barrel with two-line Hartford address and roll die markings on the left side of barrel. Colt Frontier Six Shooter on the left side. Left side of frame with three-line patent dates and rampant colt logo. With one-piece wooden grips.
Condition
The entire revolver has been cleaned and finished over. The barrel has a mottled plum and bluish-gray patina. The frame and hammer have a mostly gray patina, with small faded traces of blue finish remaining. The trigger guard and backstrap have a bluish plum patina. The grips have a few nicks or dings but are in good condition. The bore and mechanics are very good.
