** Colt Detective Special Revolver
.38 Special caliber, 2" barrel, S/N 718730 (mfg. ca 1958). Blued finish, checkered walnut grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. Matching numbers on frame and crane. Left side of barrel marked DETECTIVE SPEC. / .38 SPECIAL CTG. and left side of frame with Rampant Colt behind recoil shield. Right side of barrel with two-line Colt address. Revolver is contained in a wood-grained Colt factory pasteboard box with a yellow end label that matches the configuration of this gun. The box is numbered in marker on the bottom to a different revolver. The Colt factory paperwork is included in the box.
Fine. Retains most of the blue with some thinning and loss, primarily on the barrel from holster wear. Markings all crisp and clear, mechanically fine, fine bore and grips. Box with wear and scattered loss to the finish.Condition
