Below the magazine button a "P" then a Vand P with a "W" above on the forward flat of the trigger guard. Brushed blue finsih with a blued barrel. Checkered Colt rock grips. This pistol is just about mint, retaining all of the original blue finish with no wear to high lines. Barrel retains most of the blue finish, just some light scuffs where the slide has been racked back. Very minute wear to the high lines on the front of the left side of the slide. Bore is excellent to mint. This pistol appears to have never been apart. This is the last stage of a bluing before going to parkerizing. A very rare Colt in collecting 1911A1's.
