Clews Wilkie Series Serving Dishes
English, 19th century. An assembled group of five blue and white printed serving dishes by Clews, including a small undertray, two open vegetable dishes and two platters. Each piece features a scene by David Wilkie (1785-1841) and has impressed factory mark. Scenes represented include The Rabbit on the Wall, The Letter of Introduction, The Valentine and The Errand Boy; largest platter wd. 19 in.Condition
Heavy wear to small vegetable dish. Hairline in rim of both vegetable dishes.
