- Lot Description
American, 19th century. A Chippendale linen press in mahogany, the top case with two cupboard doors opening to three shelves, over a case with three graduated dovetailed drawers with brass pulls, all resting on bracket feet; ht. 83, wd. 45.5, dp. 20.5 in.
Provenance: Property from the Estate of Suzanne Rickards
Condition
Refinished. Replacement hardware. Repairs to feet. Splits along top molding, split on top case, left side, and repair to bottom edge. Stain on top-left interior, scratches on drawers, vertical splits on both sides of bottom case, and on back right foot. Top right front corner: new split, also to back corner.
