- Lot Description
Chinese, 19th-early 20th century. A pair of black lacquered square tables or stools with shaped apron and curved legs resting on scroll feet, all on a square stretcher, decorated in gold with stylized lotus with red accents, the top with lotus and meander, crashing waves and foliate design border around top edges, each with removable glass protector; each ht. 20, wd. 17.5, dp. 17.5 in.

General wear, some dings and chips especially at edges/corners. Scuffs of white paint around stretcher edges. Some felt rounds have been adhered to top to protect from glass. One piece of glass is broken.Condition
