Chinese Carved Console Table and Mirror
Chinese, 19th century. A carved demilune console or hall table and carved mirror, the table having a demilune top above a conforming, carved and pierced frieze, four shaped legs with carved terminals joined by a carved lower shelf, raised on animal paw feet, the mirror with beveled glass surrounded by an ornately carved and pierced frame of florals and figures on motorbike and rickshaw; table ht. 32.5, wd. 34.5, dp. 17.25 in., mirror 20.25 x 33.5 in.Condition
Some chips and small losses to fretwork around mirror. Top of table with wear to finish along with a small age split. Two of the legs are missing fretwork support brackets near the knees. The lower shelf with losses and some glue repairs.
