English, 19th century. A Davenport Desk in mahogany, having a sloping hinged leather top writing surface with burl crossband inlay, opening to a fitted case with three pigeonholes, the base having four side dovetailed drawers and four opposing false drawers, supported on decorated bracket feet, rising on casters; ht. 32, wd. 20.75, dp. 20.5 in.
