Lot Description

Sendak, Maurice. PICTURES BY MAURICE SENDAK. New York: Harper and Row, (1971). Limited and Signed Edition of 500, this being #433. 26 1/4 by 17 1/4 inches in cloth backed patterned paper over board covers. Complete with a portfolio of 19 separate prints selected by Sendak from his work, plus a reproduction of a previously unpublished drawing of the terrier who posed for "Higglety Pigglety Pop," which is hand-signed by Sendak.

Contents complete and Fine. The clamshell has a 1 1/2 inch split at the lower joint along the spine.
