Lot Description

Hansi. LE PARADIS TRICOLORE: petites villes et villages de l'Alsace, déjà délivrée, un peu de texte et beaucoup d'images pour les petits enfants alliés. Paris: H. Floury, 1918. 12 by 8 3/8 inches in the original striped and patterned cloth pictorial binding with a color printed paper label to the upper cover. With color illustrated title, 8 beautiful full page color illustrations, 20 charming smaller color illustrations in the text, and color pictorial endpapers front and rear. A celebration of the French victory in World War I by this great Alsatian artist, illustrator, and patriot.

Condition

A lovely example - tiny chip to the paper label on the cover; general cover fading, but internally fresh, bright, and Near Fine.
