Chesterfield English Sofa in Tufted Leather
English, ca 1970. A tufted brown leather sofa on casters with continous rolled back and arms, tag on underside reading This piece of furniture was handmade by D. Hudson on 8/12/70 at the Chelsea Workshops, London, England; oah. 31, lg. 83.5, dp. 41 in.Condition
Wear consistent with age and use including light fading, minor cracking, and light scuffs scattered throughout the tufted areas of the sofa. Some stretching to tufted folds. A few small stains to the top of the headrest. 8.5 inch tear to leather on the bottom edge of the left side panel (almost underneath the sofa).
