- Lot Description
American, 19th century. An assembled secretary bookcase in cherry, the Federal-style upper case having a scrolled pediment centered by an urn-and-flame finial, over two glazed doors with shaped mullions opening to a three-shelf interior, the lower case in the Late Classical style with a drop front writing surface opening to an interior fitted with serpentine-front drawers and pigeon holes, all over three graduated drawers flanked by applied columns and rising on ball feet; ht. 101, wd. 43.75, dp. 20.25 in.
One mullion is missing a piece. Upper case and lower case seem to be of a marriage.Condition
