- Lot Description
American (Bluffton or Sonnenberg, Ohio), 19th century. A carved and paint-decorated schrank, or wardrobe, in poplar, having a lift-off molded and dentiled cornice, over a single paneled door with pintle hinges, the interior having a single painted drawer concealing two more drawers, the exterior with hand-carved pinwheel designs and sponge painting throughout. Stenciled E.B. 1851 along top; ht. 80, wd. 51.5, dp. 20 in.
Retaining original paint. Age wear throughout. Replaced knob on door.Condition
