signed lower right(sight) 24 x 16 in.Bettina Steinke was born in New York but, in the 1950s, moved to New Mexico, where she developed a strong interest in portraying American Indian figures. Thanks to her striking depictions, she became renowned as an acclaimed portrait artist.
