British, 19th century. A group of four battersea enamel snuff boxes, including:
one with genre scene marked on interior for Samson;
one heart-shaped with a ship;
one painted Amans Fidelle;
and one painted Take this for a Kiss;
plus, one 20th century enamel on copper box, having white ground and green painted flowers and marked Made in France S.X. on underside;
dresser box ht. 1.5, wd. 4.5, dp. 3.5 in.
Heart-shaped box has repair to one side. Amans Fidelle box has small repair near edge of box near brass clasp.Condition
