Baltimore Two-Part Banquet Table with Inlay
American (probably Baltimore, Maryland), ca 1815-1830. A fine Sheraton two-part banquet table in figured mahogany with lightwood inlays, each end having a demi-lune, one-board top with reeded edges and a rectangular drop leaf supported by a swing leg, above a conforming apron with a beaded lower edge and rising on ring-turned and reeded legs ending in ball-and-spike feet; each ht. 29, wd. 22.25, dp. 46.75 in. (closed).Condition
Some minor/small veneer cracks to apron with a couple of slightly longer cracks to drop leaves. A few small veneer patches to drop leaves. A few tiny chips to beading on apron. Some minor/expected nicks to legs.
