- Lot Description
A five piece Austro-Hungarian parure consisting of a bangle bracelet, a ring, a necklace and a pair of earrings. 18k yellow gold with silver settings. The 17" necklace contains 148 rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.5 carat total weight and four mine cut diamonds weighing approximately .40 carats total weight along with a 7.5mm square emerald and a 14mm x 8mm pear shaped emerald. The hand engraved 32mm bracelet tapers to 6mm at the back and contains 68 rose cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.0 carat total weight and four mine cut diamonds weighing approximately .60 carats total weight along with one central emerald measuring approximately 8mm x 6mm. The size 8 ring features a central emerald cut emerald measuring approximately 5mm x 4mm along with 26 rose cut diamonds weighing approximately .25 carats total weight. The articulated earrings contain 62 rose cut diamonds (total for both earrings) weighing approximately .60 carats total weight along with two pear shaped emeralds measuring approximately 10mm x 6mm. The earrings have omega backs with posts and measure 2" long. All of the pieces are adorned with a coronet and a blue enameled "M" and come in a fitted case.
