Auguste Edouart (French/American, 1789-1861). A silhouette of four full-length figures, including three standing figures of two men and a woman, and a seated woman holding a letter. The scissor-cut paper figures are mounted on cream paper with a lithographic background depicting a fashionable parlor, with graphite enhancements, signed Aug. Edouart fecit 1842 / Boston l.r., framed; 10.5 x 14.5 in. (sight).
