- Lot Description
Chinese, 20th century. A group of five snuff bottles, including:
four inside-painted in flattened baluster form, three with stone lids, including one depicting a genre village scene, one of a group of women, one with the eight Daoist immortals, and one with battle scene;
and one glazed porcelain bottle in black, having painted white horses on either side and stone stopper, marked on base;
largest ht. 3.25, wd. 2.5, dp. 1 in.
One inside-painted bottle missing lid, and two lids also separated from snuff sticks. Some tiny chips to mouths. Other wear consistent with age and use.Condition
