Lot Description

Chinese. A group of three scrolls on silk including a watercolor of two birds with blossoms, calligraphy and red seals at u.l., an embroidered silk panel mounted as a screen with ducks and hummingbird on flowering branch, and a painting on gold toned silk with a white dove perched on a blossoming prunus and two birds in the foreground, calligraphy and red seal at u.r.; watercolor lg. 33, wd. 14.75 in., scroll lg. 71, wd. 24 in., embroidered panel lg. 46.25, wd. 13.5 in., scroll lg. 67.75, wd. 17 in., gold silk painting lg. 39, wd. 19.5 in., scroll lg. 74, wd. 24 in.

Condition

Watercolor on silk with birds, vertical creases in the center of the image. Gold toned silk painting, a few creases on bottom half of image, tear at top of scroll. Embroidered scroll, some losses to silk particularly at upper right, lower left, and lower right edges, toning.
