.36 caliber bore (cartridge unknown), 26" octagonal barrel with stippled top flat, no S/N. Blued finish, checkered pistol-gripped stock and checkered forend. Engraved receiver with tight flowing foliate motifs. Left side of receiver marked with Webley & Scott "Flying Bullet" trademark over W&S. Receiver additionally marked in two lines: Army & Navy / C.S.L. London. Fixed rear sight for 50 yards, with flip-up leaves for 100 and 150 yards, dovetailed front sight blade. Frame-mounted safety and cocking indicator. The short Martini action is probably chamber for a pistol cartridge like .38 S&W or the British .380 pistol cartridge, or possibly a Rook rifle cartridge or some type.
