** Argentine Model 1927 Pistol by D.G.F.M.
11.25mm (.45 ACP) caliber, 5" barrel, S/N 48945 (mfg. ca 1948). Blued finish, checkered brown plastic grips. Matching serial numbers on frame, top and side of slide and barrel hood. Left of slide marked: D.G.F.M. - (F.M.A.P.) , right side of slide marked with the Argentine crest followed by EJERCITO ARGENTINO / SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25mm. MOD 1927. 1911-A1 pattern as produced by D.G.F.M. in Argentina, with arched checkered mainspring housing, short checkered trigger, wide checkered hammer spur, checkered thumb safety and slide stop. Fixed military pattern sights. Right grip numbered "86" in yellow paint. Includes a single blued magazine marked "S" on the front lip of the floor plate. All correct Argentine production features with only the magazine being an incorrect American contract replacement. No import marks are present.
Good. Retains traces of blue in protected areas, with scattered light oxidation some light pinpricking and numerous small impact marks and dings. Markings remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional, good bore with even frosting and light pinpricking. Very good grips.Condition
