- Lot Description
Lot of 2 silver gelatin press photographs, the first, an 8 x 10 in. portrait of pop artist Andy Warhol (American, 1928-1987). October 3, 1965 date stamped on verso, with newspaper clipping discussing Warhol and his successes.
Press photograph of a security guard seated in front of Warhol's series of portraits of "The Most Wanted Men," 10 x 8 in. February 17, 1971 date stamped on verso, with a typed label describing the Warhol exhibition opening at the Tate Modern in London. Taken by Fox photos.
