- Lot Description
Anderson, Joseph, Intro. and Notes. Ancient Scottish Weapons, &c. A Series of Drawings by the Late James Drummond, R.S.A. Edinburgh & London: George Waterston & Sons, 1881. Folio, olive drab cloth, gilt spine, printed endpapers, 26 pp, 54 color plates that include targets (shields), swords, dirks, powderhorns, pistols, muskets, halberds and other pole-arms, and also sporrans & pouches, brooches, bagpipes, harps, drinking vessels, and spades and other implements (flail, plough-like item, spindle, etc.). Wonderful plates, still bright and clean.
Condition
Minor scuffing to pages that were not trimmed completely. Minor shelfwear to corners and spine ends. Binding tight. Overall very good.
