THE NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN, BEING A SERIES OF VOLUMES PICTURING AND DESCRIBING THE INDIANS OF THE UNITED STATES. VOLUME 19 - THE INDIANS OF OKLAHOMA. Norwood: The Plimpton Press for the Author, 1930. 12 3/4 by 9 3/4 inches and nearly 3 inches thick in the original 1/2 brown morocco. 270 pp. with 75 leaves of plates printed in tissue photogravure. Volume 19 only from Curtis's monumental publication; this volume focusing on the Otto, Commanche, Peyote, Cuit, and the Southern Cheyenne.

Condition

There is some scuffing and wear to the extremities; light foxing to the tissue gravure plates, mostly confined to the margins.
