Boston: A.C. Gould and Co., 1888. 7 by 4 1/2 inches in the original black cloth with blind ruling all around and gilt titling to the upper cover. Signed on the front free endpage, "Compliments of the Author." RILING 1220. A very early American treatment of pistols.

The front hinge of the Gould title is starting, but the binding is still solid. The rear hinge of the Bogardus is cracked; slight intermittent foxing internally. The front inner hinge of the "Marksman" title is slightly exposed. All three books show modest handling wear and rubbing but are otherwise in sound, Good condition.Condition
