New York: Published by R. M'Dermut & D.D. Arden, no. 1 City-Hotel. John Forbes, printer, 1814. 7 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches in contemporary full calf binding with gilt printed red leather label to the spine. With 8 engraved plates. Generally recognized as the best selling English cookbook of the 1st half of the 19th Century, Mrs. Rundell's recipe book was first published in America in 1807 in Boston. LINCOLN 60.

Condition

Neat professional restoration to joints and spine; lacks frontis plate but includes 8 numbered, inserted wood engraved plates. Binding solid and sound.
