- Lot Description
American, late 19th century. Oil on canvas, framed, depicting a farm homestead with multiple figures and farm animals, unsigned; 16 x 26 in. (sight).
Provenance: Property from the Descendants of Bertha Benkard Rose, Oyster Bay, NY and Tucson, AZ
Condition
The canvas was trimmed and relined. The surface may have been cleaned in the past, but there is still a thin layer of surface grime. The UV light revealed no in-painting.
