American, 19th century. An adjustable wooden sewing device in two parts, with old red, yellow and black paint decoration, initialed A.E.F. to one side, the other initialed A.G.F. and dated 1845; oah. 24.5 in.
Provenance: Property from the Collection of Dr. James and Betty Sutherland, Cincinnati, OH
