- Lot Description
.38 caliber, 3.6875" round brass barrels, brass frame, walnut grip with steel and German silver furniture. Frame engraved with foliate motifs and J PROBIN on the obverse and LONDON on the reverse. Barrels and chambers of frame are numbered 1-4, frame with London commercial proof marks. Steel triggerguard and German silver grotesque mask butt cap. Flint box lock action with sliding half-cock safety and reinforced flat cock. Tap action lever on reverse and sliding touch hole cover for barrels 1 & 4 on obverse.
Fine. Barrels and frame cleaned in the European manner, and polished to bright. Mechanically functional, good bores. Stock with minor handling marks and dings.Condition
