- Lot Description
Ca late 19th century two-piece patriotic flag costume, likely made for the 1876 centennial. Coatee is made from a worsted wool American flag, with four stars on the front and nine on the back for a total of 13, with six shield eagle buttons on the front and cheaper buttons on the back and sleeves, velvet collar and cuffs, and cotton lining, 28 in. from collar to bottom of tails. Pants similarly constructed, with velvet waist and bullion piping, 20 in. waist x 22.5 in. long.

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received.
