A needlework sampler with fine floral decoration and two alphabet lines, along with a block of text reading Beset With Snares On Every Hand / In Lfes (sic) Uncertain Path I Stand / Saviour Divine Diffuse Thy Light / To Guide My Doubtful Footsteps Right / When I Am Dead And Laid In Grave This By / Work In Hand My Friends May Have Annes Per / Her Sampler Mead (sic) In The Fifteenth Year Of / Her Age 1790. Housed in a black painted and gessoed frame; 15.25 x 16.25 in. (sight), 18 x 19 in. (frame).
