DESCRIPTION: Shipley (English, 20th Century). Oil on canvas. Gentleman in a white suit and top hat in a horse-drawn two wheeled carriage. Signed at the lower right corner "Shipley". In a golden painted wooden frame. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Ron Shepler, Harrisburg, PA. MEASUREMENTS: 17-1/2" x 23-1/2". Overall with frame 23-1/2" x 29-1/2". CONDITION: Yellowing and toning to varnish. Small rubbing and hole just under hind legs of horse. Light wear to frame, chips to paint, loss to edge on upper right corner.
